A Woolly Wild Workshop

Greetings from Woolly Wild Things!
I have been a very busy bee, and not had much time for updating blogs lately, but I’m going to make a point of updating more regularly now as I have lots of exciting things going on!
Last week I ran my first needle felting work shop for my Mum and some of her friends. The theme was hares and mushrooms, and it was a delightful tea and cake fuled day. Only one person attending the workshop had actually tried felting before, but everyone really took to it and created some wonderful creatures.
I put together some kits of corridale wool for everyone. The aim was ultimately to make a hare and mushroom mobile, and although we didn’t get as far as putting a mobile together at the end of the day, everyone left the workshop with a completed hare and mushroom!
It was my first time teaching a large group of people how to felt, and I really enjoyed it!
The finished hares were all beautiful, each one turned out individual with loads of character. It was really lovely to watch everyone learn the process from scratch and manage to produce something so fantastic at the end!
All the finished hares and mushrooms lined up together.
Thanks to everyone who attended the workshop for making it such a lovely and successful day!
