I discovered needle felting quite by chance in 2012 when I was working for Monmouthshire Youth Service.

I began by making wool sculptures of animals, but I soon discovered that the possibilities of what I can make with felt are almost limitless! I learned to wet felt, and began making hats and clothes. I love making bizarre costumes, and I have been learning to wash and dye fleece so I can make my work as ethical and environmentally friendly as possible.

My work is inspired by the natural world, and by myths and fairytales. I love stories of old gods and strange creatures, and I have started creating strange creatures of my own.
